   Kawasaki motor bike

The story of Kawasaki motorbikes goes a long way back. In fact originally Kawasaki Company was involved in the aircraft and metallurgy industry. It was in 1949 that Kawasaki entered the motorcycle industry. Kawasaki has given us some record breaking power machines that are also hugely popular. It was in 1960 that the first Kawasaki motorcycle rolled out from their factor. It was a 125cc two stroke delight that was first in the line of models that took the world by storm.

The company moved into the production of bigger bikes around 1966. The first model which got launched was the W1, which was a 650 cc bike. Then came; the lighter versions A1 Samurai and A7 Avenger.

Then the real hit models in the form of super bikes came. First came the Z1 in 1973 with its 903 cc engine. It was also known as the ‘king’; then, the improved versions including the famous Kawasaki Z 1000. A few smaller bikes followed suit in the same series including the Z 650. From the Kawasaki Vulcan 750 to the Kawasaki Z 750 you can find the unmistakable stamp of engineering excellence in each one of Kawasaki’s models.

The GPZ 900 R model too was a great success, both on the track as well on the road. It was also a pleasure to ride this bike. Kawasaki came out with the ZZR-R1100 in the 1990’s which was the fastest production super bike for almost five years. The model was fast in the real sense, achieving incredible speeds. Come 2000 and the company launched the ultra super bike, ZX-12 R. The series was a great success with other models including Kawasaki ZX 10 and Kawasaki ZX 14.

A slew of models with sophisticated engineering have come from the house of Kawasaki. Models like Kawasaki W 650, Kawasaki KLE 500 and Kawasaki KFX 700 are all part of motorcycle legend now. Funky styling and flexible as well as powerful engines are part of Kawasaki’s line including Kawasaki 636, Kawasaki KX 125, Kawasaki Vulcan 800 and the Kawasaki 750 turbo. From the thundering Vulcan series of cruisers to the workmanlike yet stylish Kawasaki Mule 610 and Kawasaki Bayou 220 to rugged Brute Force ATVs and Jet Ski watercrafts, Kawasaki continues to be in the forefront of technological frontiers as far as motorbikes go.
